When you meet Amanda it doesn’t take very long to recognise she is one of those artists who embraces her craft with passion and commitment. She is driven by her love of songwriting and a will to succeed.

Over the past four years Amanda has worked hard and immersed herself in songwriting and performing under the mentorship of some of Australia’s leading country music songwriters, artists and producers. Amanda feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business and as a result is developing a style that will see her release a debut album in 2006.

Originally from Port Stephens on the NSW mid coast, Amanda is now based in Sydney where she is establishing herself a local profile in Sydney’s songwriter scene and regularly performs at songwriter showcases, charity events, functions and festivals. In 2003 Amanda was a finalist in the Australian Country Talent Seekers Quest and more recently a finalist in the Steel City CMC, NSW Champion of Champions. In 2003 she wrote the song ‘Brand New Day’ for a Sydney charity called ‘Communities for Communities’ which received national country radio exposure.
