Angela Hayden is regarded as having one of the most dynamic voices in country music today, performing alongside some of Australia’s most well known and established performers.

Angela released her fourth album ‘In the Garden’ in September 2003.

Angela started singing at the age of 10, competing in talent quests for a short time winning over 100 trophies and awards. Some include an ‘Australia Day Award’ for charity and achievement, ‘Gordon Parsons’ memorial award’ and ‘Jimmy Rodgers memorial award’.

Angela released her first album ‘The Coolah Valley Yodeller’ at the age of 12 and in the same year, in her first ever television appearance won ‘Bert Newton’s Junior New Faces’. Being seen on national television saw Angela invited on an Australia wide tour with some of the countries best known country music singers. With the success of the tour and growing fan base she released her second album ‘Teenage Yodelling Sweetheart’.

Angela released her third album ‘Give ‘Em Another Encore’, which prompted Larrikan Entertainment to give her a distribution deal from which Angela became the highest ever selling independent country artist of that time.

With the success of her albums and performances, Angela was invited on several television programs including, ‘Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton’, It’s Country Today’, ‘True Blue’ for Foxtel, ‘The 7:30 Report’, A Voice and a Song’ ABC documentary, and ‘At Home’ with John Mangos.

She has done interviews with radio personalities such as Ray Hadely, Brian Bury, 2UE’s Alan Jones who has invited Angela to perform at several of his private and corporate functions, and many other Radio stations Australia wide and overseas.

Whilst Angela was still in school she was asked to perform in the ‘Sydney School Spectacular’ held in the Sydney Entertainment Centre and from there was asked to join the ‘Talent Development Project’ organised by the cream of the music industry which then resulted in a tour with Bobby Limb.

Angela travelled to the USA and what started out as a holiday resulted in Angela performing on live television, stage and radio. She appeared on a live breakfast show called ‘Country Music Morning with Ken Rainy’ and even made it on a local news broadcast in Meridian, Mississippi. She was invited to perform at the ‘Jimmy Rodger’s Memorial Service’ held each year in his honour to sing her rendition of ‘In the garden’. Angela was also invited on the ‘Jennifer’ show in Branson.

Angela wrote and released a single titled ‘If you were mine’ which hit the HOT FM charts at no.13 and the video clip was played on medium rotation on Foxtel’s CMT.
