Karen has sung and played guitar to audiences since she was a young girl. Her career began with a 3 year stint as lead vocalist for the popular show band “The Jay Walkers”.
With this band Karen performed a full time circuit of clubs and pubs around Sydney. During this time Karen would also perform at concerts that featured artists such as Julie Anthony and Eddie Lowe,

In 1983 Karen released the single “Music Box” through R.C.A records. It received air play on a number of radio stations throughout N.S.W and New Zealand. As a result Karen was nominated for best new talent and best female artist at the Australian country music awards in Tamworth in 1984.

Karen then returned to her home town of Orange and continued to entertain and inspire as a solo artist. Along with clubs and pubs Karen performed at numerous functions and events including carols by candlelight, high school concerts, weddings, church and community groups.

Now married and raising a young family Karen and her husband Geoff lead their band, K.P CONNECTION which includes two vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard and drums. The band plays a varied repertoire that covers country rock, pop, and ballads.
