Ralph Parker

My musical career kicked off in1971 when I turned 18 and have been a part of many Bands, Trio’s and Duo’s since then, the details of which are mentioned below. All along I knew that my strengths and passion lay in country music. In 2006 I virtually had to pull away from all other styles of music and focus my attention entirely on country music simply because it is the kind of music that speaks from the heart and I like that because I feel my music, I sing straight from my heart.

Buck Owens and Merle Haggard were the two icons whom I idolised the most from the age of eight which later transitioned to other famous artists like Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Faron Young, Conway Twitty, Slim Dusty, George Jones, George Strait, Alan Jackson and of course the present day country artists in the USA, Australia and Europe.

My achievements are reflected in my first cover CD titled, “I’ll share my world with you” in which there are ten songs. My second CD is a “Tribute” to the late and great, “Buck Owens” who was my very first idol and whose music had a tremendous influence on me from the 60s. These two CD’s are currently being played on radio stations 97.7 FM and 3MDR in Melbourne and are testimony to my capabilities in this field. These two CD’s have potentially scored me a record deal in the USA. I will be in Nashville shortly to record my first album on “Universal Sound Records”. Herein are excerpts from T Jae Christian CEO of Universal Sound Records letters to me. “I was delighted with your vocal performances, and knew right away that I could record a great country album on you here in Nashville!." You’re a fine country artist and a fine man also. I'm surely looking forward to recording a great album on you, and I know it will be a new shining star in your life! I believe that the secret to success is in setting very high standards for myself and working hard to be a fans pleaser. I have a huge fan base in Melbourne where I am performing on the 14^th October 2006 at the Gaelic Park Club and hope to draw at least 350 of my fans to this show. Early next year I will be the support artist for one of Nashville’s hot country artists Mike Bella who is performing in Australia and later for the Kentucky Head Hunters who will also be touring Australia. In addition I hope to be touring Ireland and other parts of Europe commencing in the first quarter of next year on promotion through Universal Sound Records.

In Sydney I have performed in several venues with bands, Duo’s and Trio’s always only singing country music because it is music with meaning, it’s about real life and it’s what I love best. Some of the venues that I have performed in include the Mounties Club, Bathurst RSL, Liverpool RSL, Kingswood Sports Club, Riverwood Sports Club, some restaurants, bowling clubs, private functions and a charity show for the Westpac Helicopter service at the Mortdale Bowling Club earlier this year. Some of the bands, duo’s and trio’s I have been a part of include “The Psychedelics” “Electric Mistress”, “Allen - Demello Duo”, “The Purple Haze”, “The Rockin’ Countrymen” and others.

Over the years I have developed an enormous amount of talent and experience in this field and am happy to present you with this bio.
